Campsite Review: Logyard Campground

Logyard is one of our favorite spots for primitive truck camping. You can pull up right along the Current River, overlooked by a gorgeous bluff. Surrounded by ozark wildlife, it’s just a few miles off of the main road. Watch the sunset and rise with a soft cool fog setting in the valley.

notes

  • Open year round
  • Winter and off-season camping is much more quiet. As a boat launch site in the 40 mph. zone, this is a popular spot for locals in the summertime.
  • The road back can be a little rough, and most of the sites are on the gravel bar. 4WD recommended.
  • Bring plenty of water. Potable water access may or may not be available.
  • Bring firewood, not fore sale on site.
  • We suggest arriving while it’s still light outside.
